Main stages of implementation of the process approach to factory management have been considered in this paper. The principal objective of the present research is to specify the main types of activities required for the implementation of process management, as well as to determine their content and the sequence of their execution. The authors proposed the following stages of implementation and realization of the process approach to management, which are grouped into three blocks: planning the activities aimed at the process management system implementation, developing the process management system and organizing the support system for the implementation of the process approach. In addition, development of the process management system should be carried out in three stages: formation, implementation and improvement. The results of the present research can be used for the development of quality management systems, business process reengineering activities, implementation of programs of business process continuous improvement, enterprise restructuring activities, etc. Transition to the process management, executed in the stages which were proposed, will allow structuring all activities according to the processes, forming a business process management system, optimizing the organizational structure of the management, which, in its turn, will provide for the increased efficiency of modern enterprises.
