It is important for any enterprise to differentiate between its consumers, customers and clients, because each of these categories has different goals: a client should not lose the interest to the enterprise activity, a customer should not lose the desire to buy and a consumer should not lose the need for services. The basic features of the concepts «consumer», «customer» and «client» have been determined, their definitions have been specified and applied to the sphere of motor transport services.
